ikram Sharma, an IT professional commutes daily from Dadar to Churchgate. He had to go to his hometown to attend his sister’s wedding after two days, so he decided to board the train a little early. He boarded the 5:45 local along with three loaded bags. It was almost a chockablock. The situation worsened, as it was a Mumbai local and moreover with three fully loaded bags. Just one day before, he had shopped according to the list given by her only sister on phone. So he wanted everything to be really “Handle with care”. He just wanted to shift the most awaited bags at Kanpur, so he called the other guy standing nearby “BHAIYA”. Vikram could not attend his sister’s wedding and the most awaited bugs could never reach to her.
The incident is still fresh in our minds, when an Indian student was harassed in Australia on racial ground. A lot of bogging, huge processions, hoarding against Australian behavior occupied breaking news slot. Many News channels telecast special bulletins pertaining to the atrocities in remonstrance to this hideous act.
Hey! Do we actually look back? Have we ever pondered that one’s behavior is the mirror image. What we receive whatever we give and either ways. Its’s pretty simple.
Maharashtra, an influential state, is considered to the coccyx of Indian politics. Its prompting people to set wrong values. Customization of even basic amenities depend on the demographic attributes. Eventually one has to forget the fact of being an Indian because we are maraathis first not Indians…
We are said to be a united nation, are we really? A state which is deemed to be bread winner for a substantial lot of the multitude is not able to strike balance. Instead or creating resonance, the progeny is cacophony of hatred and turmoil. Big guns of political arena have myriad plans for depletion of disparities, but when it comes to execution, its just nothing else but voidness.
Its our own flaw, which has become inevitable, We iterate, sophisticated people tend to address some of girls from North –East as chinkis…Its an abuse and like calling their names. Its something that we youngsters have to drive. Everyone should be respected , by no means we can’t acquire any right to offend anybody.
Lets stop being another victim of the political swamp so that these politicians can’t toast their bread on our emotions. Be it North, South or East…we can never forget the fact.. Its INDIA..which rules and INDIANs who rocks
